Recently, a client asked us what sections to add to their showcase website. We reviewed over 200 sites and thought this might be useful for you too 😉. In this article, I'll list the most commonly used sections and our recommendations 👇

What is a website section?

Let's clarify. On a website, a section is a part of your site that groups elements which are themselves organized around a theme.

They can be located at the root of your domain or at a more specific URL, such as www.yoursite.com/section. Sections are very useful for organizing your content in coherent groups and to simplify navigation on your website. For example, if you have a blog, you can create a section for each category of articles you publish. This way, your visitors can easily find what they need.

For example, the "Contact" part of a website is a section.

Also, the "About" section of a website.

Or the "Blog" section is also a website section.

What are the most common sections for a showcase website?

A showcase website is a website that, as its name suggests, acts as a showcase for your products and services. A showcase website will help you to present your business but your users will not be able to purchase directly from the site (unlike an e-commerce site 🤔).

If you are about to create or update your showcase website, you need to decide which sections to include. A showcase website is the best way to present your product, service, or brand online. Many showcase websites include a homepage, an about page, a contact page, and a product or service page.

But you can go further by adding other sections to improve theuser experience and highlight your brand. Below, I'll give you the most common sections to include in your showcase website 👇

The first section of a page, it should grab attention of your users as the page finishes loading. Share your value proposition by summarizing your product or service in a few lines.

💰 Pricing Section

This section allows users to easily compare your different offerings based on the specific features included. Detail what is included with each of your offerings.

Salesforce Offerings

In this section, you should clearly and concisely present the various services you offer. Whether it's product sales, consulting services, or any other type of service, it's important to detail them so that visitors know exactly what you are capable of.

It allows you to add a visual touch to the site by presenting various images to the user. Make sure they are personalized and consistent with your visual identity.

📽 Video Section

This section allows you to add video content original to your website. If you have already created similar content, we recommend sharing it on your site as this type of content is generally very popular.

💁‍♀️ Partners Section

Gain credibility by showcasing all the partners you work with. You can detail the list of your partners and suppliers in this section.

🗣 Contact Section

This section often contains a contact form. Allow your users to contact you with just a few clicks.

This section should include your contact information , such as your physical address, phone numbers, and email address. It is also recommended to include a contact form so your visitors can send you a message more easily. If you have a physical store, also be sure to include your opening hours.

Often complementing the contact form, this section encourages your users to contact you or visit you. Share your contact details on your site (it costs nothing).

👣 Footer Section

This section represents the footer of your site. This is the place to indicate if any specific notices should appear in addition to the mandatory ones (legal notices, privacy policy).

📰 Blog Section

Remind your users that you maintain a blog. Share your articles in this section and offer them relevant content.

The main thing to remember

A good Webflow site isn't just about beautiful design; it relies on a clear, strategic structure designed for conversion. Certain sections have become essential for capturing attention, building brand credibility, and effectively guiding your visitors.
